I am currently using silver screen for my home cinema .Screen aspect ratio is 2.40:1.I have been told by many specialists that silver screen is best for 3 D viewing.It also has more gain than a white screen.Some colors are definitely more sharp and clear on this screen.However as most projectors have lens in the aspect ratio 16:9 hence it is a lot better to build a screen with this aspect ratio.Unless u dont have a anamorphic lens in projector the draw back of 2.35 or 2.40 screen is that one has to change the aspect ratio each time to watch a 1.78or 4:3 movie..
