Dolby Atmos is the latest sound[audio]technology in which many movies are recorded these days.It is more advanced step from the dolby digital technology which used to feature 5.1 channel sound system.Of course DTS sound has upto 7.1 channel sound.Dolby claims that in this audio format the sound is not restricted to channels and that sound moves in a 3 dimensional space.This sound technology truly immerse the viewer in the movie and the and as it's logo is hear the whole picture.The first movie to be recorded in Dolby Atmos sound was Pixar's brave released in June 2012.The main feature of this audio format is that it features and use overhead speakers also with the fronts,centres and surround speakers which are used in DTS sound technology.However i must admit that DTS sound is definitely much better and yields higher data than the Dolby Digital format.
